RENK, UPPER NILE STATE — Community elders representing transiting returnees and host pastoralist communities signed a historic conflict transformation accord in Renk town yesterday.
The agreement regulates water usage at solar boreholes, sets up a joint dispute mediation committee, and establishes a shared peace market for livestock and food commodities.
